Install Fl Studio Wine Mac

Hey everyone, couple of months ago i randomly found a video on youtube where a kid explained how to install nexus 2 with wine/wineskin for fl studio mac.

I switched from a PC to a Mac and tried to download my FLRegKey.Reg file so I can run more than just the Demo version (my FL Studio's bought and paid for!), but I can't figure out how to run that reg file using Wine.

I have FL studio 10 installed on my PC through wine and it works perfect. The pre-installed vst's work but any I install (sylenth1, nexus2 and pianoteq) don't work. I downloaded the FLRegKey.Reg file to my desktop (Mac), then I right-click (two-finger click on Macs) on it and 'open with' 'Wine'. So I get the little Wine window and choose: run directly in: /Users/myname/Wine Files and click 'go' and nothing happens.
I'm not sure anything's supposed to happen when you install a reg file, but I know for sure it didn't end up where it's supposed to be because when I run FL.exe from Wine, it comes up as the Demo version.
I've read as much about this as my eyes can take. I know there are already extensive directions on this website for Mac users, but I just can't seem to find my exact problem.
What am I doing wrong? Where do I put this reg file and how do I get it there? Do I need to have a text editor in Wine in order to get my reg file in to the right place?
